SEX ADDICTION & BETRAYAL TRAUMA: LEVEL 2
Following on their popular therapeutic disclosure training in 2024, Sharalyn Drayton and Steve Stokes will be back in New Zealand this July to give therapists and coaches a deeper look at working with those with problematic sexual behaviours/sex addiction and betrayal trauma.
While in-person attendance in Auckland is recommended, this SASA training can also be attended online.
This course will cover a number of complex issues you may hit when working with those seeking treatment for sex addiction and betrayal trauma including:
- Love addiction/avoidance in SA/BT clients
- Offending behaviours
- Neurodiversity in SA/BT clients
- Domestic violence in the SA/BT relationship
You are also encouraged to bring the complexities you are working through with your own clients for Sharalyn and Steve to talk through.
Sharalyn Drayton
CSAT, CCPS is a therapist in private practise in Sydney and a consulting therapist to a private treatment facility. She is also an author, supervisor and trainer. In her practice Sharalyn works with a wide variety of clients but has a particular interest in working with partners of addicts. Sharalyn is a leader down under in the field of sex addiction and betrayal trauma counselling.
Steve Stokes
Steve has worked in the Recovery and Treatment field for over 35 years and specialises in developmental trauma, complex PTSD, and affect regulation. Steve is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, treating all types of sex addiction, love/avoidance addiction along with betrayal trauma and partner/ family support including full therapeutic disclosures
